2. Dean Unaware of Addition: The Dean informed us that he was not previously aware of the recent addition of N10,000 to the 400-level students' fees for Teaching Practice.
3. Previous Payment: It came to light that the current 400-level students had already paid the Teaching Practice Fee during their 300-level, which raised questions about the duplicate charge.
4. Possible Management Oversight: The Dean speculated that the mistake might have occurred during a recent change in the school portal and could be attributed to the school management.
5. Prompt Action Taken: The Dean immediately contacted the school management to address the issue, and they confirmed that it was indeed a mistake. They have assured us that the erroneous charge will be rectified and promptly removed.
Rest assured, the addition of N10,000 to the 400-level students' fees for Teaching Practice will be reversed.
6. Clarification for Current 300-level Students: As for the current 300-level students, please be informed that the Teaching Practice Fee of N10,000 is applicable to your level.
Important Notes:
1. The management is actively working on resolving the portal issues, so we request your patience during this process.
2. Before sharing information on social media platforms, we encourage all students to seek consultations and clarification to avoid miscommunication. Let us trust in the ability of those representing us in the faculty to address our concerns.
3. Our faculty's door is always open to receive constructive reports and complaints from all students. We appreciate your passion and eagerness to address issues, but let us uphold the spirit of orderliness and discipline as Education students. Representing our faculty responsibly will reflect positively on our image beyond the university walls.
4. We, the representatives of the Faculty of Education, promise to do our best to represent you with competence and dedication, by the grace of God. We assure you that appropriate actions will be taken.
Thank you all for bringing this matter to our attention.
