2025 UTME Mop-Up Examination: Key Details for Candidates

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially announced that the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) mop-up exercise will hold on Saturday, 28th June 2025. This special examination is designed to accommodate candidates who were unable to participate in the main UTME or faced technical issues during the initial exams.

Who is Eligible for the Mop-Up UTME?

The mop-up examination is open to the following candidates:
1. 5,096 spill-over candidates who could not take the exam during the main session.
2. Candidates who failed biometric verification in the earlier exercise.
3. 91,742 absentee candidates from either the main UTME or the resit examination, as granted under a special dispensation for 2025.

In total, 96,838 candidates have been rescheduled for the mop-up UTME, which will take place across 183 examination centers nationwide.


How to Print Your Examination Notification Slip

Starting from Monday, 23rd June 2025, eligible candidates can print their examination notification slips, which contain crucial details such as:

i. Exam date and time
ii. Exam center address
iii. Other important instructions

Steps to Print Your Slip:

1. Visit the official JAMB portal: https://slipsprinting.jamb.gov.ng/PrintExaminationSlip.
2. Input your Jamb registration number
3. Download and print a clear copy for reference on exam day.

Important Notes for Candidates

Biometric Verification: Ensure your fingerprints are clean and clear to avoid disqualification.

Arrival Time: Arrive at your exam center at least one hour before your scheduled time.

Required Documents: Bring along your printed examination slip only!

This mop-up UTME is a one-time opportunity for the 2025 session, so eligible candidates must take full advantage of it.
