Mr. Jollof Apologises to Duncan Mighty

Nigerian humorist, Freedom Okpetoritse Atsepoyi, widely recognized as Mr Jollof, has extended an apology to vocalist Duncan Mighty following accusations of non-appearance at his Warri concert despite receiving N3 million.

Recall from previous reports that Mr Jollof publicly confronted Duncan Mighty, alleging a breach of contract and seeking a reimbursement of the N3 million.

Following a refund, Mr Jollof has now expressed regret and offered an apology to the Warri-born singer through an Instagram video. He clarified that his actions were prompted by misguided advice, acknowledging the tendency of youths to react swiftly due to societal stigmatization.

In his words, "Bros, abeg no vex. We youths we are quick to react due to stigmatisation. I didn’t believe you would scam me, but the advice I was receiving from people was why I called you out. Please don’t be angry with me. All my threats were mere rantings. Forgive me, I’m not perfect."

Furthermore, he extended apologies to DJ Barbie, having received a reimbursement of the N600,000 he had sent to her. DJ Barbie had also faced public criticism for non-participation in the same event after receiving payment.
